Barbara Ottenio, D.D.S., M.A., CADL, FICD

NYU College of Dentistry

Barbara M. Ottenio, DDS, MA, CADL, FICD is the Director of Curriculum and Continuing Education for NYU Langone Dental Medicine Postdoctoral Residency Programs’. Dr. Ottenio, is a graduate of NYU College of Dentistry and completed both an AEGD as well as Chief GPR residency programs at Lutheran Medical Center(Currently NYU Langone Health) she was in private practice for 10 years as well as Dental Director for Park Ridge Family health Centers for 6 years (Currently part of NYU Langone Health). In 2013, she completed her MA from University of the Pacific in dental education. Her passion is to change dental education within the residency realm with new technologies and current methodologies. Her various leadership positions have led to experiences and interest in diversified and inclusive educational aspects of Faculty Development.
